Application Overview

This inductive vehicle detector is designed for controlled vehicle entrances and exits where two road loops manage the movement of cars, vans, trucks, and other vehicles. The unit monitors CH1 and CH2 in one dual-channel platform, converting loop activity into relay signals for connected barrier gates or access controllers.

In parking entrances, the first loop detects approaching vehicles while the second confirms passage. In exit lanes, the same concept supports exit direction logic. When loops are installed in sequence, the detector determines vehicle travel direction from CH1 to CH2 or CH2 to CH1.

With relay-based outputs, the detector integrates with compatible barrier controllers, parking control panels, and vehicle-access systems that accept dry-contact or relay-triggered inputs. The connected controller determines specific actions such as open, hold, count, or confirm passage.

Six Operating Modes

The detector offers six selectable modes via DIP-switch configuration:

  • Direction-related pulse output
  • Direction-related presence output
  • Separate CH1 and CH2 presence operation
  • Pulse output when vehicle enters a loop
  • Pulse output after vehicle leaves a loop

Commissioning Guidelines

Proper loop installation is essential for reliable inductive detection. The manual provides loop-turn recommendations based on loop perimeter and specifies vertical orientation for detector plug and socket installation.

Fault Diagnosis: If the detector indicates loop faults, check for open circuits, short circuits, and incorrect number of loop turns before adjusting frequency or rewiring.

Working Principle
Entry Process
  1. Car enters community/parking lot, pressing two loop coils simultaneously

Direction Recognition
